The Xray is a very nice great and top notch quality, but I don't think it's the fastest car around.
Both are great cars.

Email Toni Sport and he'll get you a kit. I just ordered my Short Shock Set from him.

I'm not looking for the kit or anything, but what is your website? The links you have in your signature do not work for me.

I have never had to rebuild my shocks to this point. Oil has only been changed to tune. Going on almost 3 months of my original car.

As long as your diff is not leaking, you should not have to rebuild your diff often, I only do it when I replace the out rives. In order to keep them in good shape I also have a few different diffs with different oils to tune. This way I don't have to be opening them up often which is what over time leads to leaky diffs.

Default BD7 Short Shock

Hi All,

Just want to get some feedback on the option short shock. I am currently running BD7 2014 with standard shock. What effect is I change it to short shock? Is this worth investing?

Appreciate those who have try and feedback.

Thx

short shock should give your more sensitive steering response and little more traction. It's also lower down the cg when your car rolling in the corner. some track it's might not suitable..need to trial and error in certain track.

i would prefer it for med-high traction track.

anyway its my opinion...

Can someone tell me what adding shims to the steering bell crank does? Less shims/no shims = more steering?

It's more expensive converting it rather buying the kit.

Isn't the conversion kit selling for under 175$, and the shocks for 80$ in the UK. i'm not sure how that is more than 425$ for a new kit? My only issue is trying to not get over charged for it haha

Cool

I know for a fact that A-Main tries to get Yokomo parts ASAP, seems USA is still low on the food chain to the might of Asia and Euro markets
Especially on newly released items, that cannot be produced quick enough to meet demand

At least we now have a US importer, so at least there is some progress
