I ran the IP7200 before I switched to the 6000 and it was similar to your Orca in weight and I was still under 1380g. Had to add weight to get up to minimum. This was also with standard weight body. Now I'm running lightweight body. What servo and esc are you running? Got any pics of your setup? I'm just curious where your weight is coming from. Also, take out center ballast.
Motor: reedy sonic mach 2 10.5T
Esc: orca vx blue
Servo: savox low profile 1251MG (if im not mistaken)
Receiver: sanwa 451R
I added motor fans which adds 20grams, after adding all the electronics (including servo mount,wires) i get about 330grams on the left chassis.
So in terms of having balanced car, using orca batt makes it even between right and left. Plus i used the centre ballast as battery stopper (another 20gram)
My ride body is pretty heavy at 114gram, so might save some if i turn to lightweight body.
Currently i can save weight using another 7000mah batt from max concept(local brand if im not mistaken) and final weight ready to run is about 1415gram.
To be honest im quite comfortable driving the car with that weight, cant say i can identify the difference if i go lower to 1380gram.
But of course once Im good enough to know the difference I will try to reduce the weight of the car.

It is also possible a gear diff helps lifespan of them as well, spools at the front are just hard on everything.
Oh yeah, my car is back to being brilliant to drive again thanks to a fixed diff
Once i dropped it back to 1K oil and a rebuild it was fine. Im still not as quick as CraigM but thats more to do with the driver

I dont have any repalcement yokomo orings yet so i used Kyosho. I just followed everyones recomendations, made sure it was super clean when i rebuilt it and only used 1000 oil. The diff still feels a little tight probably about the 15-1600 range, but that was where i wanted it anyway.
With the 2000 oil and swallen orings it felt about 4000
