Finally i finished build my BD7. Took it run for few pack lipos.

First feeling,

Car is handling much better than Bd5 out of the box setting...lots of corner speed if compared with bd5.

will use the car to run this weekend race. Hope everything is good to go.

Your setup is that of the assembly manual or the basic asphalt setup?

Almost all the BD7 specific stuff has been available to order for nearly a week now.

What spur gear are you all planning on running for 17.5 blinky?

You're not going to be able to fit a 56 on the car. 96/49 barely squeezes in.

Hmmm so your saying that I should drop the spur size huh. I haven't tried to put my motor in.

Unfortunately yes. It appears the tallest any of us will me able to gear our 17.5s is 3.9 or 3.8. It screws me since I'm running at porter next month and need a 3.5 or so for a 220 foot straight. I guess I'll run my t3 there.
