if you used the Tamiya cvds,you must use Tamiya front knuckle as well .
if you dont it will bind just enough ..

Ya I know I would probably just dremel a bit of plastic off the C-Hub....I've been using spec r version 2 but already have lost 2 pins so I had enough with those.....haven't used the yokomo ones but have heard nothing but bad things about them. So if the tamiyas fit and work and don't have to worry about them ...well then I will probably go with those.

Tamiya 42216 are those them ?

Don't worry about cso ... Just use tamiya
And if you use tamiya dcj and tamiya wheel hex both will fit yokomo kunckle

I've had enough of the Yokomo CVDs as well, I've been through a set of front and back in 1 month!

I've had the spec-R v2 CVDs since early march and never had an issue, as long as you clean them and lube them. How did you lose the pins with the pin retainers on??

What do you lube apart from where the blades clip on? Which are for the rear anyway...

I had the pin retainers on my spec r shafts and it wouldn't even fit snug it would pop off extremely easy...so then I decided to do what I do to all my other dcjs and never had a problem with this method and that's heat shrink where the pins are and have lost 2 already .

I have 4 dcjs on my tf6sp and have ran it hard in mod for over a year !!!never once have I had an issue !

Going through just parts of this thread and have counted numerous people complaining about the yokomo dcjs !!

There's obviously an issue here with many guys running this car and the poor quality of dcjs offered for this ride ...way too many complaints to chalk it up to user error ......this is a quality issue and should be addressed!!

Yeah, all I do is clean them with brake cleaner, take them apart, put tamiya AW grease and lock tight. Never had an issue.

theatriks - i heard the yokomos are problematic, but they are for racing, parts to win aren't usually parts that last...

There is a fine line seperating the part that wins you the race from becoming the part that's loses you the race.

I'm sure people are frustrated because they have lost more than a few races because of it.
