Out of all the cars I've driven they all seemed to excel in either carpet or asphalt never both.

Nice run in the video with yokomo running 2,3,4.... We need to get that order correct to 1,2,3...lol

The new parts package also looks convenient. how much savings is there vs buying the parts individually?

Default Parts Package

The "Package" (In Japanese) will give you a savings of 3,066 Yen. So you looking at around 30-36 dollars worth of savings.

It hasn't hit the shelves, yet, it should be coming out in the middle of this month.

Thanks..... $30 is a lot of savings for parts that I would buy in the first place.

Any Idea when the new BD-7 RS hits the market ?
And the approximate cost

Default BD7 RS

I've come across a few magazine articles in Japanese briefly talking about the RS but no pricing or release dates. Just a few snap shots of Masami holding the prototype version and some close up shots of the plastic components.

I would estimate the release date would be in August or September. Pricing, I would estimate around 20,000 Yen or $230 USD range.

I thought the Yokomo DCJs had a bad reputation? Might be a false economy since they're included in the package.

I think the Yokomo DCJ's are very nice, no issues whatsoever
Before installing, just remember to disassemble, clean, locktite set screws, then lube the pivots, and your set

This car is very well engineered and laid out

Zero issues here, and yes I have tested the rigidity of our track barriers
