Really good news for him. It'd be nice to have such a high profile driver running the BD-7 in the UK but I'm pleased for Elliott. Team Durango is a class act I'm sure he'll do well.

Quick question for BD7 owners - does the kit come standard with these steel front spool outdrives -
http://www.rc-mushroom.com/product_i...-steel-p-19229
Or does it come with the plastic front outdrives that have been included in previous Yok BD cars that snap like cheese every time you drive over a painted white line ?
I loved my previous BD.....hated those plastic outdrives.

I have been using the Tamiya DCJ's with no issues for the last three months. I have them fitted in my BD5WXi and BD7.
The other option is SpecR V2 DCJ's.
Later,
Calvin.

I had bearing binding issues when I installed tamiya double joints. And the inner part of the steering knuckle would ream out. I now run tamiya steering knuckles with tamiya double joints. No. Issues, car handles like a dream now. Consistent every outting. U can see my setup in the pic I posted above.
