History has proven that times are very similar anyway, making it really just another stock class. 1 big stock class competing for the crown of US Indoor Champ would be my vote. Sorry if I hurt any "old guys" feelings.
Have everyone run together and give the highest placing old guy the masters trophy! I've seen that done in Europe at some races also with a junior champion for maybe a racer under 15 or something.

+1 ! I think Master has his place but could also be run inside the stock class. Like Paul mentionned, there has been a lot of races in europe where there was a junior champ inside the regular field. What could be done is like if you want to enter as master, you could have an M next to your name and then who ever finishes first out of all the M gets the Masters trophy.

Sounds to me as if Chicky and Kevin have put forth a good idea with their suggestion of including a 17.5M division within the two 17.5 classes (1/12th and sedan). This suggestion will still establish the fastest fossils in attendance and yet also get the event closer to the glorious early days of the Indoor Champs when there were only two classes offered, 1/12th stock and modified.....each with really deep fields and lots of entries. Count mine as a third vote in favor of the 17.5M designation.

I know it has been done that way at Nitro races in the past, and starting next year, that's the way we'll do it. Now we just have to hope the youngsters can keep up with Frank, and Chuck.

I like the idea of a junior champion designation too, consider that added for 2013 as well.
