Carpet testing coming.

On Saturday me and my team drivers will go to one of the best carpet tracks in Germany. Very consistent grip making testing extremely good.

I will try to upload some pictures and information from the testing.

Who are the guys helping you? Waiting for some news and more details about your shox

I see you don't want to speak about the price yet

Oh maybe you could tell which springs and pistons you will use for testing.

Good luck!

My team drivers are some of the very best German drivers.
In stock Tobias "Ketchup" Vogel and Valentin Hettrich and in Modified Tim Wahl.
All 3 are young and upcoming, very talented and fast. I am very happy to have them as my team drivers.

The T-Shox set (4 pcs) will cost 100 Euros in Germany.

We will be using the T-Shox (T-Springs) Springs. Of course with back to back tests with Xray, HPI, MR33/Ride and Yokomo springs. However so far we have seen that the T-Springs gives a slightly easier drive the way they are designed.
More information on the T-Springs will be available in 2-3 weeks.

Pistons which will be included into the T-Shox set are 3x1.1mm and an outer diameter of 9.9mm, which leaves very little oil to go around the outside of the piston (having the shock body inner diameter at 10mm).

At the German Nationals the team and the winning setup was 3x1.2mm holes with 600wt oil. We also used tapered pistons (which will be available as options parts) as the track was really bumpy.

Hey Andreas,

How did the test go?

Would be nice to see some pictures and report, maybe a picture of disassembled shox?

Any news on the release date yet?

Regards

Hi,

The test was really good. Actually just as good as I hoped/thought.
My guys started out with the standard shocks and springs which they used during the last season on carpet to get a feel for it again and to be able to back to back test T-Shox and springs.

T-Shox again made the cars easier to drive and less edgy and more round to drive.
T-Spring they used also worked great and I am very happy about the line of springs which I will be able to present soon.

We used the same setup on the T-Shox as at the German Nats however now with 550 oil instead of 600.

All in all, a very positive testing day.

Release date is unfortunately pushed back a little, but end of September is the current approx. release date.

Will have a picture of an disassembled T-Shox very soon.

AME team driver Tim Wahl sets new lap record 9.168. T-Shox (3x1.2mm and 500 oil) and T-Springs (carpet medium) was used.

Was a great Thursday

No I am sorry dude. I have pushed and tried my best but I will be 2 weeks of that date.

I will have the T-Shox available 1 week of October and the official introduction will be at the 1:st round of ETS 2012/2013.

T-Shox won the first carpet race held for the season. Could not ask for a better start.

Shipment from my manufacturer is on the way now, should have everything in stock at the end of next week.
