Default T-Shox Assembly Video

T-Shox Assembly procedure

Hi All,

This is my method and only my responsability, i'm pretty sure AME will bring an instruction video very soon, until, you could watch how i do you it and some more details of the T-Shox.

Extra Tip - Use an arm reamer on the guidance pieces

Somehow missed the part when i put the rebound springs on the shock shaft, you should put it before you fill them with oil.

Hope you like it.

Cheers.

isn't part 10040 (large o-ring) supposed to be seated between the shockbody and part 10042? now you've mounted it in a position were there is no o-ring between the shockbody and the plastic shaftguidance (but an o-ring between the shockcap and the guidance)

I think you might seen it wrong, 10040 is supposed to be in the spring tensioner and top shock cap, 10041 is for the top and bottom shock shaft beetwen the 2 guidance shim, just like any regular shocks, except the top. Hope you understand it, my english may not be that good.

I think he meant that the large o ring in the shock cap is used to hold the:
1. Conical spacer
2. Small o ring
3. Large delrin spacer

So the large o ring holds it all in place in the shock cap and it gets screwed down to the shock body. Your video has the all the items sitting free on top of the shock body and the shock cap with large o ring screws down on it all.

Maybe he is asking you if you correctly installed those parts? I do not know him, but that sounds like what he is asking.

The propose of that oring is not to hold those 3 itens in place. The top guidance, wich as a conical side to the cap, will hold the oring against the large guidance. Same in the bottom set. I think the large oring is just to avoid unwanted unscrewed and also match the joint of the large guidance and the shock body, just my guess. But gonna ask that.
And the large guidance on top of the shock body as a little of splay that will get inside the diameter of the body and will hold the oil inside the shock.

Looking to the manual, it seems that o-rings goes in after large delrin spacer, and keep it on the shock cap. I have assembled it this way but i'm also waiting for official video
