They call it that, but its running a 1/10 scale system. I was expecting it to be truly based on a forza including the same power system. This is weak sauce.

Or at least a Bind n Drive type system so I don't have to waste my pennies on TX/RX that I don't want or need.

Very true. Time will tell if this combo will power this car without any real issues other than being 3s max.

Yesterday I decided to go into my hobby shop and ask about the WR8. The guy I talked to said he had just ordered some from HPI (or distributor). He said they should be in sometime next week at about $485.00. Only thing I'm confused about is that he said he only ordered the Ken Block edition, and I thought that wasn't supposed to be out until sometime in September. Guess I'll find out next week!

No. Completely different size. Check the manufacturers websites for exact sizes, but they are way off

Map is $480.00. Release should be sometime in October. Uses a 4000KV motor so check on the 1/10th scale electronics. HPI has been doing that alot lately. Using smaller electronics in bigger vehicles.

Hmmm, maybe it's not there. The standard WR8 are 80mm diameter. It was probably on another forum that someone discussed the actual sizes - can't remember exactly, but way different.
