good to hear some success, i sure wont be giving up on this chassis. As a budget chassis of $150, you cant complain if it needs a few bits and pieces that might bring it to a chassis of $250, still cheaper than an OTA-R31, which also has it's pros and cons. Really looking forward to getting my hands on this.

Yeah my rear pulley mount has started to turn outward and man keep an eye on the cvd's in the front they just come apart found that out after 10mins of running it now have to wait more than a month till I can afford to replace them I take back what I said in early posts about the build quality my tt01 is still running after 2Mths but the D3 ran for less than 10mins before throwing a CVD which I fixed then after running another five threw the other side now after putting back together blew again and again and again. But when I replace them I will be going Tamiya (#42216) 44mm Double Cardan CVD's they better hurry up and release the Alloy bulk head parts otherwise I'm just going to save up for a Yokomo. To all you people out there thinking about buying a D3 save your money and get a good chassis and those of us who bought this chassis either have to now upgrade it or bin it. I'm really not happy as you can tell I waited all this time for my parts to arrive and just so it could become a static model. this is my last post on this thread I'm shattered have a good one guys
we do the same on the trf416 driveshafts that we wack in the sakura.
does anyone know if the dcj's from the sakura xi (SAK-X27) will fit?

Im really enjoying my d3. In my lil group of drifters we have a cs'd ta-05, cs'd tc6.1, and a heavily modded sprint2. Out of all the cars my friends say the d3 is the easiest to drift.

Sorry to hear your story Pickled, but don't give up. I checked those cvd last night and all of them are not tight enough. See, the only thing they assemble for us is giving us problems; imagine if this is RTR.
Mine was the 2nd D3 here but haven't run yet. The first one on the track have the "click" sound on first punch of throttle. I listen vary close to it and also found the clicks came from rear. Every part seems installed properly and the belt are tight enough. Will share if we found cure for this.

CHEAP LOOSE MID BELT FIX
I found a cheap way to fix loose middle belt by placing washers on rear bearings holder.
Still have some gap behind for future adjustment
Wonder this '3Racing (#SAK-X27) SSK Driveshaft For Sakura XI/Sakura FF/Sakura Zero' will help fix the steering near end wheel shake or not?

3 D3's at my club have their 138T belt in the front eaten up pretty fast.
The tensioner was at the bottom. Is the solution to change the pulleys to alu with a higher ledge? So the belt dosen't eat on the sides?

Is SAK-59/v2 what you used? Glad to hear one-way for sakura zero worked!
