Yeah, I could easily get around that ban by using a proxy but I don't want to go back to that place due to insanely high number of broke teenagers who are too lazy to go out and earn money to pay for their hobby and constantly make threads about what to get even though they know they will never get what it is they are asking about. Also, it's mostly Traxxas fanboys over there and it makes me sick to my stomach because I don't believe Traxxas makes anything quality. I'd rather buy a New Bright than a Traxxas.

Back on topic, I am waiting to see some reviews on the Sakura D3 CS before I commit to buying one.

HPI makes some nice bodies. Check out this link.

@all_rice. Tamiya bodies for the best value. They have quality light buckets unlike hpi and very good detail.
Yokomo and abc and pandora next. More expensive but awesome quality.

Im wondering if front motor is going to need a longer body nose.
So i prepped a tamiya gtr 35 for the d3.
It is quite long in the front. And honestly its an ugly shaped car imho.

The ft86 looks totally bad @ss tho
Its Sic.

Performance aside, the R35 reminds me of a Japanese Dodge Charger.

In the blog I mentioned he stated the FT86 body had short overhangs, meaning the nose and tail are shorter than usual. I ordered this body for my 03F, crap I wonder if it will even fit?

Detailwise all the Japanese make (Tamiya, Yokomo, ABC) bodies have no equal. HPI bodies you give up detail for price. An HPI body can be half as much as one of the other 3 mentioned. +1 on the Tamiya lightbuckets, moulded from chrome plated plastic rather than lexan like the rest of the body. Yokomo has the same thing but available separately.

Hmmm that ft looks sweet! I like yokomo bodies also, but have to make sure they have the buckets available. I saw a Toyota pick up that would be cool also, but it's been out of stock for a while! I'll wait for the kit and see how the body fits on it.
