is the intercooler glued in with hot glue? I had to glue my light buckets with super glue as the hot glue couldn't take the punishment.

Haha! Yes hot glue..I still need to trim it and add some black around the air dam opening.
And since you said the hot glue won't take punishment, then I'll have to reinforce with CA glue...thanks for the tip

Can you mount it on the bumper of the chassis?

On a different topic but adhesive related! do you guys use double sided tape to stick your ESC to the chassis? how often do you have to replace it cause I have to replace mine all the time. It gets dirt under the esc and eventually comes loose so I have to replace it with new double sided tape!

check out the paint job on the 370z

that's good paint job...
I was using Velcro...but had enough slack that the angle the ESC goes into makes the fan go louder...I used double sided tape now. works good for me. make sure maybe double up on thickness because of uneven bottom chassis because of that pattern. and use alcohol to wipe down both sides...and let air dry. so mine has stayed and not come off

yeah I clean it up every time I change the tape, I've been thinking of doubling the thickness and pressing it into the hex pattern more!

Did you find out if you can mount the intercooler off the chassis bumper?

I think I'll leave the yokomo wanbia and uras mods till I'm a lot better at not hitting things as hard as I do now and maybe get the 370 body to test if it touches the belt. Yeah I just want another shell that's not as banged up as the one I'm currently using lol

Just got my alloy bits and tyres yay gonna open them now and see what they're like

yes...try the double thickness...so you clear the hex pattern.
just found out I can mount it...didn't even realize it comes with a mount. I didn't read the instructions.
I'll do that next time...I'll work on painting the outside of body at some point.
