i run a cheap hobbywing 9T 3000kv and 35A ESC. I bought it because i read a lower kv 3-4000 was torquey and better for drift. Runs great i wouldnt change it. You only need a better/higher amp ESC if the ESC runs too hot over 70deg C. Mine never ever gets even hot too touch even on warm/hot days.

+1 on the one-way. Now i realise that all the car needed was the one-way now i feel i can handle it and its only practise not the car that is holding me back. Check out my latest video to see how it changed my driving for the better. I was completely new to the scene a month ago

www youtube com / watch?v=DExXQuo-xwU&feature=plcp

sorry for spaces i cant post links yet. or just look at the link in my signature below aha!

FYI, 3racing just released some more hop-up parts for D3 on their website including aluminum rear bulkhead cover, rear bearing holder, and one-way front diff (if you want to pay $3 more than the sakura zero oneway which works just fine. lol)

Isn't that stupid, your not going to fit the bulkhead covers with out the bulkheads maybe the rear bearing holder? But I guess it gives us a start at accumulating the parts for our rebuilds!

Went to my LHS last night but it was dead no-one else there but me which was good cause I kept spinning out lol.

Anyway I changed my setup and went by the instructions with the softer oil in the front and 0* front 3* rear camber and it steers a bit better for me now
I also used two hole pistons in the front and four hole pistons in the rear. I like the way it handles now.

lol well without the spacer they can give it a new part number! But the rear bearing mount is only for the D3 no other Sakura uses that mount! the alloy front suspension mount differs from the others as well!

They all say new arrival, I would take that to mean it's in stock. you can add to the cart and checkout? however the weight hasn't been updated so no price for shipping yet. they are going to dripfeed the parts to us lol

I placed my order....darn...another big order.
I just got back from vacation the other day. That night I couldn't go to sleep because I was thinking of putting my parts that arrived and practicing at my LHS.

I expect that you'll get an update on your back order in the next few days, Imagine how many back orders they will be dealing with??

I'm not worried if 3racing has stock or not as I will be buying from rcMart they do cheaper prices than the storefront, just have to wait till they have stock lol! But I still say give it a couple of days, they wouldn't put it on the site if it wasn't going on sale till end of november! But we will still be waiting for the release of parts then. I bet they don't release the bulkheads or the carbon till after then!

look what I found on rcMart
3racing SAK-D312/pk aluminum upper bumper
3racing SAK-D313/pk aluminum rear bulkhead bearing housing
3racing SAK-D317/pk aluminum front suspension mount
3racing SAK-D318/pk aluminum motor plate
3racing SAK-D321/pk aluminum rear bulkhead cover
3racing SAK-D324/pk aluminum oneway tube
3racing SAK-D332/pk aluminum spur gear adaptor
Now what was that you were saying?
The D3 one way is the same tube as the zero as mentioned by td-civ but has a thinner spacer I think goes on the outside of the pulley as a support plate with the D3 logo on it lol.

exhale.

See and you got the one with the D3 logo lol. Guess you got it at the right time. Might as well keep the alloy to one side till the rest is released or you'll be pulling it all off again to add more. Spewin I bought the sakura Zero 0* front suspension mount now.

I knew they would be priced more realistically that's why I shop there! And they got their stock pretty fast, Same day as it went up on 3racing's stock list. It wasn't up till about 12 hours after riboflavin posted that 3racing had them up
