nice at least it was easy to find lol.
get some green slime before you rebuild your shocks, I have to do the same I might get the trf X seals first as my shocks leak slowly around the shafts

Thx. Already have both the TRF damper seals and green slime from prior orders...I just haven't used them yet. I couldnt find my other shock pistons. ..I wanted to try 3 or 4 hole. I only found the 2 holes which I think is what I'm using now.

Just checked the factory manual and it indicates to assemble with 3 holes...so I'm pretty sure that's how I assembled them. I'll have to assemble 2 of them with the 2 holes and keep other two with 3 holes. Then ill play around with the set up more. My new wide offset wheels should be in...then I can fill up the fenders and play with the set up some more.

You are comparing and apple and an orange, one is a counter steer drifter and the other is a rally / on road car hybrid. You pick the right one for the application. I wanted a CS drifter, so i got the Sakura.

Thanks for the anology.. The TB02 actually comes in a drift spec too I don't want to be limited just to drifting would be good to have the best of both worlds

Also the I see the Sakura is belt driven not sure of that's a good or bad thing

How much have you spent on total on the Sakura including battery, charger etc

I see you also have HPI Maverick Strada DC Evo which seems a good deal as it is ready to run

The Sakura is really limited in its out of the box use to drifting only, the back wheels are over driven, so complete 2 revolutions for every 1 of the front. Which makes it just about impossible to do anything else with.

Dont get the D3 unless you only want to drift, if you want to run TC or similar things you will be better off getting something that is a hybrid, either buy a TC and add drift wheels and a locked rear diff for 50/50 drifting or by a 50/50 drifter and add road wheels to drive it like a TC.

Hope that helps you in making a choice on what to buy. Personally if you are looking for a hybrid, i would get a Sakura Zero S, and put a spool on the rear, that way you can drift and if you want to race TC you can put the spool on the front and the diff back on the rear and be rocking it both worlds.
