An E-MAXX motor is too large.
Hard for me to recommend a motor that is within the 21 turn limit of the standard ESC, there are not many faster options than the kit motor. An HPI Saturn 20 or Firebolt 15 might work, but there is a risk they will overheat the ESC as well.

The Hobbywing EZRun seems like the best inexpensive motor/esc combo.
It's a sensorless brushless so not quite as smooth as the sensored systems used by racers or very serious drifters, but it is very good for the money. 9T or 13T motors are both plenty fast enough.

I'm afraid you won't get a decent sensored system for $70. You need to double/triple that figure.
