Default Tamiya m03 parts question.

Hi, I want to upgrade my parts on my M03 chasis. Two questions. First, are 3racing parts good quality parts? last, do you guys know any good sites to get cheap priced hop up parts? Thanks.

Where do you intend on racing? Because most places around here run TCS rules, and that means Tamiya parts only!

3racing parts are made to be light weight. they aren't very durable are are more for show. If the rules of your local track permit them, I suggest only purchasing part which don't encounter any direct impact. Examples being graphite body mount supports, front/rear graphite shock stiffeners, fans, etc.

Tamiya however does offer a huge array of upgrade parts if that's the avenue you want to go down. They may be higher in dollar value, but they are also higher in quality. A lot of aftermarket companies can't or won't provide the same caliber of parts as the ones offered by Tamiya. As well, don't forget a large quantity of the parts from other Tamiya models can be used on a Mini.

I have some 3Racing parts on my M03R, I like the quality and look. Tamiya HopUps are over priced and the same as any other brand. Also TCS rules are stupid, "only Tamiya upgrades" is strictly for them to get more money, In My Opinion.
