The removal from amateur tc for Evan Williams was because he was also entered in 13.5 super stock tc, which is against the rules of the class. From what I was told Brian dropped out on his own. Both of these guys were very fast though so nothing but the utmost respect for both of them.
I believe they asked Busse to drop out after they realized how well he was doing in stock. I think he was kind of in the same boat as me being unsure how he would perform at a race this big and was just fine with dropping out as well.
Had a blast at my first big race. Mike & the guys running the event did an incredible job especially with so many entries, it had to be a handful!
Note to self: Next year.. More sleep! lol

My figure 8 body had a few scratches and dents on it, but the Xray T3 chassis came away 100% clean.
How cool is it that pictures of the Figure 8 (formerly VTA) car is in the Team Xray web page!

The author, Alexander Hagberg, didn't really know who I was, so he just said the car was put together by the RC America team. My car was driven by Eric Anderson for the win.
About half-way down you will see a white 1955 Chevy Bel Aire body like this one ...

Second time to birds and as always a great event.
Wanted to bring up something for consideration. I know it seems like onroad guys enjoy John as announcer and oval guys scarecrow. But the interviews after every main just seems too much. From the onroad perspective it wouldn't seem to bother any of us if that was eliminated. The time it adds to the day is just too much. Anyone's thoughts on this?
