No need to limit entries to 80, there were 6 - 8 spots open in the dirt room.

I won't post more till i get these done. lol I have already gone thru the first day and there are around 1600 that will be up for just day one! Bare with me that is a lot to process!!

I would like to thank all of our local guys from thunder for the crazy amount of time and money that is put into our tracks. Without you our club wouldn't even think about holding big races. I'm extremely happy to call thunder my home track I had a great weekend! This was my first national race. It couldn't have gone any better imo. It was great to meet so many new people that can race!

Robert I want to thank you for putting on such a good show week after week.

Myron thanks for throwing these kinds of events together. They are a blast to attend.

Thanks to everyone who took pictures and video of the event. Great stuff!

Calvin Rogers, I dont think I could say enough good things about you and how you were raised. You have excellent sportsmanship. I glad that you were able to improve throughout the weekend. I know you learned about how super soft tires can really hurt how the car handles and how wd40 effects that. I hope to see you and your dad soon at the track.

He had paid entries that did not show up. There was no way to know that he was not overbooked.

I hope everyone liked the shirts. I wish I could have made it down to race also. I guess our guys from Dayton had a blast and Von came home with some hard wear.

If anyone else need event shirt please feel free to let me know and we would be glad to help with design and product.

Thanks,

John Kelly

These are the photos I got of the Concourse winning USGT and VTA cars. They were very well done and set a standard for next year for sure. I didn't get the racer's names. Maybe Myron or other can give those.

This was my favorite photo of the entire weekend. When I was their age, I spent my weekends in a john boat fishing for bluegill because that's what my folks were in to. Nothing against fishing, but I would have LOVED to have had a chance to race r/c cars like these guys. That smile is genuine for sure!

More and more of my videos are finished uploading. If you go to YouTube and just search for "USVTA Southern Nationals" you should get a list of all the videos that have completed upload.
