As a sponsor of the event, I wanted to promote a special I have going on right now for the Southern Nats.

I am offering 20% off any paint job ordered for this race. I can do any scheme you would like, classic VTA, current GT car or modern looking Touring or 1/12th scale.

PM me if you are interested, or contact me via my cell.

I will be happy if my car is just one of the last few set apart. Just to know that they considered your ride is awesome.

You mean Straight white with some stickers might not be the winner? But my one color paint jobs are sweet they come with free runs in the paint.

Most everyone at the Nationals love it.... I only know of one person that did not like it... And it did not started looking like that... It was only after running with Nolan in a heat that it came off the track looking like that...

I'm only joking with ya Nolan....

If everybody shows up that says they are, this event will surpass the recent ROAR On Road Paved Nationals. Which is pretty sad ... for them.

well I hope everyone shows if possible. Ive spoken with most on the list and 95% are sure to be there. For VTA, it will be huge. I still have alot of locals and ATL racers that are not on the list that run VTA and GT.

Im not sure what the ROAR PAV Nats did as far as numbers, but I heard it was a good weekend, and thats very important.

Im just glad the racers across the country reconize this event(USVTA S. Nats) as an event that they want to attend. Ill do everything I can to make sure its affordable, fair, and mostly FUN. The competition will be deep, with great trophies, prizes, and free pizza,drinks,chips...

Ive worked everyday to ensure that the 2012 U.S. VTA+ Southern Nationals in Music City, U.S.A. is one of the premiere on-road events in the US. To even consider have 130+ entries says that alone. And I do believe it has earn its nickname as....

THE ONE NOT TO MISS!!!!!

PS..ITS 4:30AM....

As one who has helped put a lot of races on over the years I know how much work it takes. I had a great time last year, and this years race is going to be bigger and better. Wouldn't miss it!

I was gonna say I love that body on your rc car. That paint job is sick. Plus I think I only wrecked three times all weekend. Two in. One heat.....cough*jonsey......lol. It was a blast and the Southern Nats are going to be my revenge.....well I'm gonna pass him clean.

It was a good weekend, racing wise, until the rains came on Sunday. As far as numbers go, the last I heard was 108 entries showed for the Nats.

The results are posted on the ROAR website.

Thanks Chuck...it is alot, from keeping up with everything and everybody to answering 100's of questions, to the sponsors, to promo work, to track upgrades and clean up, to helping everybody get up to speed...its alot..and more....

But I love doing it...the USVTA is the only reason I race, so I feel the need to give something back to all the racers that support it. Give the USVTA racers their own event thats all about them.

The Scale Nats at the Track @ Harbor Hobbies and the Southern Nats at Thunder RC/Nashville, gives the VTA,GT, and otherclasses too, a chance to come to a major event and not break the bank, as well as race with guys of all levels.

These two races/events are you guys Super Bowl and World Series of USVTA...come and support them, it all for you...

Thanks Battman...

PS....TICK TOCK.....Time to get ready!!!!!...Sept 21-23rd is coming real fast...

let the countdown begin...21 days ....

2 TC and 2 12th scale body orders placed with Jonesy. I'm pumped cause I have yet to see a body of his I don't like.

Just have to verify schedule change at work, book a hotel, and Tell Myron I'll be there. Will hopefully happen Monday.
