- heavier + harder = less steering

plus a alloy knuckle can bend and cause bad handling .... a plastic knuckle is
either good or broken

- square racing do make a carbonfiber bumper brace

- I don't know where to get that bumper from but honestly I have never felt
like I'd need a harder bumper .. or a bigger one???
The Yok one is one of the biggest already

Default King pins

I've used the alloy knuckles before...(suzuki are super strong)
but the main reason for the using them is because of the lower king pins which get loose after a few runs. a drop of loktite and done...they never get loose.

Are you running the BDM?

I would skip the Aluminum block as well.......

my main summer car is the LCG...asphalt mid-traction
the BDM is for the winter...carpet (might use the SDW but not sure yet).
for carpet I find the king pins loosens a lot more than on asphalt.

but of course they both run the same components.

Can't say I have had that problem with the BDM.

I believe the BD uses a different King Pin than the BDM.

The Aluminum "will" bend and will not be noticeable to the eye....the car will handle funny. Lap time will be slower due to over driving.

But to each is own.

Default king pins

you're absolute right..
the BDM uses the light weight pin...basically a screw and a thick bushing..
but the screw bends during impact...and has to be checked every now and then...(just my past experience)
I prefer the solid king pins...they never bend or break...but I think it might be shorter so doesn't grab as well and not as the light.
it's a preference thing...of course...

love my Yoks....

the only thing I'm trying to find is a different type of inner hinge pin...
has anyone fitted another brands pins?
