i know i did rubbish in terms of final finishing position, but in the finals i got the car pretty planted, i ended up using some rear anti-squat which made the miles easier to drive, just stuck to the track better everywhere, more front end, and a much more planted rear end.

but why are you listening to me just do whatever grainger did

Hi housey, did you end up adding a shim on the front of the rear hinge pin or take out shims in the rear of the hinge pin, thanks in advance.

i was running a 1mm shim under the front of the rear hinge pin, and no shim under rear of the rear hinge pin. i also put a 1mm shim under the camber link on the bulkhead to lower the roll centre back to around its origonal position.

but i might not have had to do this if i was running the correct springs, 'cos i think i was running a little too hard. i shall have to get myself some of the new yoke springs.

Cut and paste from yokomo site HTH

"YOKOMO Available 2/21
Pro Shock Spring (Long Type) ¥420
The new springs used by Team Yokomo at last year's Japanese Touring Car Nationals will be available soon.
These longer length springs have a more progressive characteristic. Soft initially, the rate becomes progressively stiffer as the chassis goes into roll. As a result, less stress is placed on the tires, allowing the tires to provide better grip for improved lap times. All of the springs are colored white to blend in easier with the surrounding parts. Each spring is color marked to indicate spring rate.

Listed from soft to stiff: Black→Blue→Yellow→Pink→Green→Orange
