maybe its just me, but unless i'm holding a 1000.00 piece of equipment to measure resistance, i'm not going to know the difference between 3, 4 or 5 solder joints. at a recent rc show up here, someone was hocking a new style plug, claimed it had less resistance then a solder joint, i asked how do you install them, he said solder them in. so i pointed out, that now i would have, a solder joint, his plug, and another solder joint, instead of just one solder joint and that would be better why?
btw pops, coming down to the bay area, (fremont) this weekend, not going to make it up your way i don't think, anything you know around the bay i could go watch.

Sadly, I need money for college, and off-road racing. So I've decided to sell my beloved BD . Here's the link if you're interested: http://rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=101169

i'm installing the front SDW arms on the BD and i was just wondering if the front UNIVERSALS are now a bit too long now since the the front will now be narrower...
do i need to remove the o-rings that are inside the front 1-way drive cups? or do i use another type of front axle which are a bit shorter?
thanks -jason

Hi,
got my chassis and top deck today. They are nice. And stiff...
Everything fits like it should. I just have to correct some tollerances and everything should be alright. Only problem is that I messed up the area around the front bumper. I don't know what I was thinking when I drawed it (you can only use 2 screws to mount the bumper). But besides this everything is fine. I will post pictures of the chassis tomorrow because I have to countersink the holes on the bottom of the chassis.
The top deck is also fine and I will post pictures of it later.
Cheers
