When you run for the company you get some insider info every now and then First impressions of the car I was told is that it has more steering and more overall traction than the SD's. It's also easier to drive "on the limit" compared to the shaft drive as well. I was told that Masami is very excited about this car and has rekindled his competitive spirit a bit

So Matt do we know which arms are going to be the choice for the BD?
I think it will endup being the Regular SD's only cause the chassis is narrower so longer arms might help...although short arms are good too.
I am glad to here that Masami is feeling the need...."THE NEED FOR SPEED" I was glad to here that he is faster. If only we had a YOKOMO USA Team....Matt I think it is time to come back stateside......
Let me know about the arms.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

Is there any BD part list already released? I'm looking forward to get that "too damn nice" battery tray for my SDW.

Could I ask any of you Yokomo drivers to send me a PM or E-mail and give me your impressions of Yokomo products. I've never had one and no one close by uses them but I'm VERY interested in this car. Just like to get some idea of Yokomo strong points and weak points. Thanks

yoko parts are very strong, in the last year of racing ive only broken a steering hub... got taken out...
not just yoko, but every major manufacture has parts designed to break. thats just how they minimize damage and save the user money.
yes, there are users that break more than others and ive seen racers curse thier car up and down, complaining that they are always breaking a-arms when they hit/tap/clip the wall.
its a fact of life, hit things hard enough your going to break. just try to what we do with rc car with other vehicles, atv / real cars / planes?
probably not what you wanted to hear, but when was the last time someone was going down the straight, and you heard 'ah broke an a-arm'... breaking ocurs when a collision happens...
