Well after a holiday trip to Hong Kong and Thailand, I have finally had a chance to give my BD a run Friday night and today.
What an awesome car
Ran last night on an old set of 28 rubbers that my previous Pro 4 hated in 12'c (41'F) temp, and it went great with the stock set up, today I ran on foam at an out door meeting and the car was on rails. The main changes was to shorten the wheel base 2mm, 2' rear toe block, lengthen the shocks to 62mm, 20lb springs all round and no sway bars and there is still more corner speed to come from it. This car is so rock solid stable its unbelievable.
After 5 years of racing X Rays, this car is of equal quality to assemble, then the shocks blow all the other brands others away with how smooth they are, and performs it better from kit setup then any of the other cars I have driven.
I then had to put up with all the new friends you aquire wanting to have a look at this piece of art work. (makes it hard to clean it between heats)
Has anyone one notice how the MR4TC-BD makes Tamiyas look PALE
