Whats a good digital servo for price/performance will be putting it in a T1R?
In case it matters, I have a JR radio and receiver.

Thanks. Now I just have to find one lol. My normal online shops dont have it listed, and I doubt my LHS will but will give them a call when they open.

JRPSZ8800S is about the fastest I can find on horizon's site by JR.
The rest have same general stats as the Z590m that I have now.

Another great servo to consider is the Futaba S9252.
It's just about the best combination of performance/price.
I have one and couldn't tell a difference from my much more pricey KO Fet servo.
Also...if you need to order a servo, go here:
www.servocity.com

Once, I tried a quite unkown digital servo, named Keil. It was reasonably priced and had good specs. It worked well, but when I upgraded to a KO radio, I got a lot of glitching. After a lot of experimentation, it was clear that the Keil didnt worked with all radios
The moral is: definately go with a wellknown and reliable brand.
Personally, I went with the KO PDS 2123, and it have served me very well for around 3 years. But Futaba, Airtronics etc. might be as good as well.

any idea off hand what the specs are on the JR? I cant remember if they list the specs on the package or not. If they do then I will just look there.

That KO 2343 is good - it's the 6 volt version, of the KO I got.
By the way, have you checked that your ESC's BEC deliever 6 volt and 3 amps?

To compare servo specs i use this site:
http://www.fatlion.com/sailplanes/servochart.html
I wouldn't go by the pricing there, but the specs on the servos seem to be right.
I've looked up all kinds of servos and they have all been there.

Going with what the LHS carries and the recommendations of one of the guys that races up there, I went with the JR 8417. .09 speed and 98oz of torque. If that doesnt work out for me I have some other cars/buggies I can drop it in and pick up something else a little later. As long as its better than the 590M I had been using I am happy though lol.
Everyone has said the Futaba ESC will be fine with it. (I hope so lol or else I will probably be picking up another ESC soon too lol)
