Default Orion and Peak Performance Motors

Hello
Could you tell me if which Orion and Peak motors are the same?

Is Team Orion, MOTOR-REVOLUTION TOURING the same as Peak Performance, MOTOR-VANTAGE SEDAN

Are springs and brushes identical?

What about Hara, Surikarn, Spashett, Steenari? How they can be compared? Which is the best for touring? I has limit to 12 turn.

Thank you

You should really check out the forum at the Orion home page, there is tons of information about the V2's,how to make the right chice, how to gear and setup's etc.

Right now the fastest 12t in my opinion is the Spashett 12x1, it's really outstanding!!

I TQ'ed a race this weekend against Joel Myrberg, Andreas Myrberg and Viktor Wilck with a Spashett 12x1 and this motor gave me the advantage over the competition, really awesome!!!

Hey Erik, what spring brush combo are you running? I have a Hara 12 and have only run it practicing about three time and it feels sweet. Med hard springs with sprinit brushes. Thanks

Hello Rob,

According to the Orion Catalogue there is 3 12t from Hara, 12x1HS, 12x1HT and 12x2.......

I used Hard springs, Part#41393, Sprint Edge brushes part#41093, 8mm timing, geared 7.97
Track was quite big, 30 meter main straight..... Indoor on Carpet with Rubber tires.

Dicort,

Not sure where you can buy them right now, they are very popular at the moment and gets sold out very fast!

daniz24,

Actually, with the Edge brushes you loose a litle bit of timing because they are narrower......
28deg with Edge is about the same as 24deg with the standard brushes.
