If Barry himself owned up to making that chassis and even raced it, I dont think anyone would be laughing.

Just think of it this way, RC wouldnt be fun if no one dared to be different. So laugh at the pic but do not insult the maker.

honesly, its really not as bad as I had thought. I finaly got a chance to see the pics, AFTER I read all the posts about it. If you have ever seen some of the pics of the cars in japan at the TCS races, it is close. The main difference I see is the use of small 1/8" holes everywhere instead of strategicaly placed larger ones to remove more mass. Yeah there is a lot of stuff cut off, but he could take off more if he wanted to. It looks as though its setup for carpet, and you would think the stiffness of the chassis would "outweight" the benifits of weight.

He could have made it look better by having a set pattern with the holes and making them bigger with less of them. Reminds me of when everyone was drilling holes in their Losi JrxPro chassis' and LXT chassis' to make them lighter.
