Which do u think would be better? Buy a new armature or buy a new motor? Im pretty sure a new motor would be good but if your can/endbell is still in condition why not buy a new arm and re-tune the motor? Why buy new motor?----- Why not buy a new arm?Why shouldnt i buy new motor? Why shouldnt i buy new arm?Plz help all answers well appreciated!

magnets lose their strength after so many runs.
have you been cutting the comm or did you just run it till it quit??
after the comm has been cut to the min. then buy a new motor

whenever i replace an arm, i also zap the magnets.. and yes after the zap it runs as good as it did when new..
just make sure you do a whole maintinance check on it...
check buchings for slop.. replace if needed. align brush hoods, zap magnets, replace arm... do your rebuild and go...
whenever i get a good can, i like to keep it as long as i can.. i wear out an arm way before the motor goes bad... But i cut the com every run usually..

i asked the same question to my self about 2 months ago. and i decided to save money and go for the armiture. DONT follow my lead.
these guys are right the can does loose magnatism. and it decreases the motors proformance.
so buy a new motor mabe make it 2 just to be safe and change them over so often and give one a break.

For stock, buy a new motor.
19t and mod wear on the arm faster, so you should be able to get by with the same can and endbell. Just buy a new arm, clean the bearings, align the hoods, and maybe zap the magnets.

It depends on what you're using it for I guess. If I was going to race with the motor, I'd just buy a new one, but today, I made the last cut the comm on my practice motor can take (I've got pretty much no comm left on it). Since it was just my practice motor, I just payed $12 to get a new comm.

The Fussy brush comm replacements work great on both Mod and Stocks. ROAR hasnt given a ruling on weather or not it will be legal on stocks yet. Im sure they will tho the rules are unclear to this new technology. So if you get a hot stock or mod arm you can get much more use out of it.

a stock motor arm can not be altered in any way from its original state.. the fuzzy requires soldering on the arm.. this is not legal.. no solder is allowed on a stock arm...
read roar rule 5-41 no modifications to the physicalconstruction of the motor can, endbell, or armature will be allowed..

been interchanging new cut arms to worn out ones in between heats, after 20 races(maybe more, plus practice), i notice my motor is getting weak. i tried to play with the gears the last race, but my old epic motors just don't have it anymore.. new brushes, new cut arms, everything clean. is it the magnets?
zapping magnets?
how do you zap magnets?
where can i get fuzzy brush?
