Which ESC??
Hi Guys
Im starting out in stock racing and i would like to know what would be a better ESC
I was looking at the GM V12 XC and the Novak GTX..
The GM i can get for $155 delivered
The GTX i can get for $165 delivered
I like the look of the GM and seems to have good features
Could i have you thoughts and opinions on which to pick?
Thanks in Advance

Well as someone who has owned both GM and Novak speedo's, I would say that performance wise, their about even. The Novak would be a little easier to program with it's multicolor LEDs. With the GM units, its usually down to counting a single blinking LED.
Its when things go wrong that the real seperation occurs. You always hear good things about Novak's service. Horizon(which handles GM's sevice here in the states) on the other hand....well lets just say it aint Novak!
So forced to pick one, I would say go with the Novak. Just for the reassurance that their quality service brings.
good luck...

I have owned three GM esc's two melted down with for no reason in the middle of a race.GM replaced both of them with brand new one's they even sent me a SX9 to replace a V12 before it was released in the U.S. I run Keyence now and will never run anything else again.

Thanks guys
Are these your experiences in stock racing?
Ive heard that some novaks tend to fry aswell so im leaning towards the GM.
What model Keyence are you running? Also how much did you pic it up for?
Thanks

All I run is stock and 19. I have run both the Zero V and the Rapidia. The price is the bad thing $200.00 for the Rapidia and $180.00 for the Zero V.It is well worth the extra cash.I ran the Zero V for two years without any problems at all even hooked it up backwards a couple of times. Also no huge cap or schokty diode needed.

I have a GM it works well.
Heard many good things about Keyance and Ko Propo.
I run a Tekin and you can be very competitive with it running stock.
