I just picked up a used Cyclone (S I think) and the one thing I noticed it that the spur gear was only 81 teeth. I tried to put an 84 teeth that came with it and the gears are rubbing on the bottom cassis. Can anyone help me. This is my first on road car. oh yeah the cassis is plastic so pretty sure it is some form of Cyclone S.

Sounds like 48 pitch gears. Run 64 pitch. I've got mine geared 58/82 and the spur is pretty far from the bottom of the chassis.

Sorry to hijack (?) the thread, but I sold my cyclone, and I have a shell: LTC-R that is brand new and custom painted, It was mounted as a display body and never run. May be of use to someone here. PM if interested, thanks.

The MIP CVDs that came with the pro 4 are 46mm. They might bottom out in the front diff or spool since the car was designed to be used with 44mm. I don't know for sure because I have never tried this.

Doug it should be the same setscrew from the Plastic ones. Its Metric just take it to the hardwear and match it up.

Hope this helps.

Actually its not the same because i ordered those(Z775) but they did not fit. I will take them to hardware and hobbyshop to see if they have anything close but i believe they are 3mm by 3mm's
thanks

Ok here is one for you guys. I got a Cyclone tc with a 108 spur gear. The Website says the brushless motor mount fits a 110 spur. I have the Brushless mount on my TC and the Spur hangs out the bottom of the chassie. how does the 110 even Fit?

With the 2.5mm chassis and the BL motor mount, I have been using 64p 116 spur gears for more then 4 years, it is not hanging out below the chassis at all.
