Not sure about the HBX CHASSIS w/ CF CUPS.

The Exotec chassis (with steel cups) doesn't have the new holes. The chassis with the cf cups apparently does. The problem is that I can't find that chassis on the Exotec web site.
Either they are sold out or it's not yet available. Korey posted a link to that chassis but I can't get to that page by going through the Exotec home page .....

Default Sway Bar Holder

Hi

What do you guys think of using the older sway bar holders from the WCE and Hara cars instead of the ones from the TC Cyclone.. The older sway bar holders are not one piece part no: HB 70741 seems like it would allow more flex in between the bulk heads. Maybe I am looking into this too much but since the bulk heads are not connected via the sway bar holder 67718.. Would this allow more flex?? Has anyone else noticed a difference between the two or is there no difference.

I noticed on the new cars they have gone back to sway bar holders that are not connected..

So is there a difference between the two or are they the same..

Cheers

Default Exotec chassis

Is this chassis stiffer, I really mean from experience is it required to do alot of setup changes to similar handling compared to the stock TC chassis

I am using Vtec 5900 battery, but to fit it without using LiPo conversion Kit I have cutted 2mm of aluminium part place where it connects to upper deck. Also you will need to use shorter screw or cut 1mm of screw.

Default use of optional parts

Hi all,

I am curiuos about optional part like titanium coated shocks, metal diff cups, and other part that do not come in car KIT.
In ETS I have seen that in cyclone these parts are used, but what is the differece and is any better performance in it runing in stock class with 13.5 or 17.5 motors on very high grip carpet.

Hey guys, I asked a few days ago about solving a rear traction problem with my cyclone and I am working on the changes. Does anyone know what changes to the front diff might help rear traction or help stop the rear from overtaking the front? I am currently running a solid front drive. Would it be better to go to a ball diff or one way up front?

Actually --you'll find the diff in the front will give the front MORE bite and steering. It won't help the rear----- softer springs on the rear---ensure you have 1.5 to 2 degrees of camber--and 3 degrees of tow in!! You could also put a swaybar on the front only--and lean the rear shocks in a little--middle hole on the bottom--3rd or 4th hole in on the top. All of that will help plant the rear.
FWIW

Thanks Tim. What do you think would be better for the front, The solid or the one way? We are running on low traction carpet.

The one ways will give a little more steering I THINK on carpet--the spool should be your best bet-- it will also allow you to get 4 wheel braking which is a good thing!!
