What im looking for is a bit more on power steering but not at full speed, only at half speed or slower.
Im curently running pink front and silver rear
Either will help, I generally like my rear shocks more layed down so the car is smoother in the rear and not as bitey and reactive as more stood up shocks would be. Go experiment with the changes ie stiffer spring or more stood up shocks in the rear for on power steering. Also you can take out some front droop therefore not allowing the chassis to kick back in the front as much and keeping weight on the front tires under acceleration, this will also make the car a little quicker to change direction in the front making it roll less in the front thought chicanes.

The main thing to do is go try the changes on your car at the track and see what best fits your driving style.

Anyone that hasnt already put cooling on the motor and is after the best and cheapest option, all you need is a small metal bracket drill 2 holes and get a 5 volt dc 40mm fan(from ebay), ohh and get the flat carbon middle deck.
and a servo extension cable or an old servo plug & lead, so as to plug it in.

As long as you have any spare slot in your reciever and your esc outputs 6 volt, it will cool really well.

cheers

hi , when would people go to a higher or lower RC.
Is it when the track is tight or open or is it when the grip is differente.
Or how would people know when to change the shock oil or spring or piston.
Thanks in advance

Default Dogbones

Ok, apologies if this has already been asked.

I have the new Cyclone TC and run the fixed spool on rubber tires on carpet. I keep breaking the front drive shafts at the hub end.

Can i use the earlier steel 44mm version of dogbone 60116 or 61043 in the TC?

Cheers

That is kind of strange, they're not as resistible as we wish, but breaking it's kind of diferent. I would go to this check list:

1. Steering Rate
2. After each run check the screw that holds the pin and always mount it with some thread lock
3. Check if you don't have to much droop.

I think for now its all, but help is always welcome.

However i think they fit perfect.

There are more Lipos out there that will fit. These are just a few that I knew off the top of my head.

SMC 4000, Trinity IP3800, Orion 3800 and lower, Core RC 3250

The car is almost ready for the regionals. We have been testing for the last two weeks and made some driving errors that gave the only MI3 driver a false sense of confidence (even though my boy lapped him at the KO) so come this weekend it's on. I feel this car is either gonna TQ and win or come off broken... The last two weeks have been a ton of fun and I expect nothing less from this race. 13.5 has been so much fun that the remaining mods I have will be up for sale right after the regionals along with the rest of my Futaba equipment. If interested pm me. Man I love this car
