Your Welcome
In order to use bigger spur gears, I was thinking of lifting the stock motor mount by putting 2mm washer/spacers between the chassis and the bottom of the stock motor mount. This will also raise the motor, will there be any concern with affecting the handling because of the motor lifted by 2mm?

We got these cars rocking out here bro. Scotty's set up is dialed. All we want to do now is test the new proptoform body and see how it runs on the car. I have been going back and forth with the regular mazda 6 and the AP stratus. The DNA 2 was my body of choice last year but it turns in way too hard with our current set up. I think I'm only going to run 13.5 for the rest of the year. Mod is hit or mis around here.
Awesome, you'll have to post those setups up for all to see. I've been running 13.5 for the most part. SIR is waay to small to be running mod without it being a white knuckle experience, so most don't run it. I did do a little 10.5 testing last night, but the setup still needs a little work. It's a little pushy still...

Korey and Guys

can you do me a favour and measure on a setup station how many degrees total steering travel on each lock you run on the cyclone.
I have a feeling that why my car pulls rear end round due to running to much lock.

Each radio is different. Just make sure that at full lock left or right, that the steering knuckle is about 1mm from touching the Caster block. Most of the time each side will have a bit different EPA value, so set each side accordingly.

About the rear end sliding around....when is it doing it: corner entry, corner exit, mid corner?

What surface are you running, and what set-up do you have?

thats my set up HI , i have a mazda RX8 I have sorex 28R tyre and my probleme is that when i corner i have to break hard to be able to corner without drifting , so it means that i loose time . What i would like to do is to corner faster without drifting but as i said i cant corner faster without drifting.
OK my set up is :

108 spur and 35 pinion
2mm spacer between the upper bulkhead and the inner pivot for front
and 2mm between upper bulkhead and inner pivot for rear
5mm front ride height
5.5mm rear ride height
4mm before the tyre lift from the ground (droop i think)for front
3mm before the tyre lift from the ground (droop i think) for rear
standart suspension 3 holes ,1.1mm each ,40w oil standart spring silver rear gold front
camber 1.5 all around
castor 4
wheelbase is standart
FF 1.5 , FR 2
RF 1.5 , RR 1.5
0.75toe angle front
and standart toe angle rear

4mm ackermann
and i think thats it

and my probleme is that :when i enter the corner , i have to break quite hard to turn without the rear end spinning so it means i loose time . So what i would like to do is to corner faster without the rear end spinning .
thank in advance

I'm one of those guys that just sets the steering up to lock, but never actually turn the wheel all the way. So for you I'd do what yyhayyim said to do. That should be a good overall starting point.

At the track now and have been chasing problems with my car all day. The problem that I am having now is at any large amount of steering angle the steering freaks out like the cvd's are binding in the spool or something. I am running a 3racing spool ground out to fit the wce cvds
