Hi Andy,

Can you tell me if they are new arms on the TC too? I mean are the rear arms slightly shorter or have HB just gone with a new mold?

Cheers

Guys

First run last night with the new diff in my WCE, all i will say is wow its a must have!
Its far far smoother doesnt slip at all, an still feels as good after 8 runs as it did when built.
The car handles much much better.

Well done Hot Bodies.

Default Cyclone TC rear toe

I just finished building a Cyclone TC ... very nice... but on my set up board I was getting a 2 degree toe-in on the right rear and a 4 degree toe-in on the left rear... as far as I can tell the rear toe is determined by the Pivot Block ( part # 75162 ) which is a 3 degree... I can't figure out why one side of the car is getting more adjustment then the other ??? Is there anything I can do to correct this ? Thanks

The car is working pretty good but the driver can't keep it together for a full heat. I just rebuilt the car again for qualifying and hopefully mother nature doesn't ruin things for us as it's suppose to rain tomorrow.

yes i agree. before even if i'm using ceramic diff balls and thrust it can only last for like 6 runs using a mod motor. but now, i already ran it for 22 runs with a mod motor and 7 runs of using a 23t motor and it's still smooth. finally, you can relax on your heat without rebuilding your diff in the mains

The TC has:
-New chassis/upper deck, accepts molded battery trays, additional cut outs for more tuning options
-New re-designed rear diff with a larger diameter diff screw
-Combination spool/one way front diff
-Comes stock with 18T pulleys/belts
-FRP middle block for added traction
-3.6 mm front and rear shock towers (front tower also sits lower)
-Re-designed sway bar mounts (more tuning options)
-Re-designed suspension arms (left and right are the same)

RE: WCE Andy Moore Cyclone
The WCE Cyclone was created as a replica of Andy's ride at World's, so it does have more "bling-bling" parts.
The TC is the next generation of the benchmark Cyclone chassis, so more function, less a few "bling-bling" parts.

Thanks,

AH
AndyH, where can we find the pro-diff and front spool/one-way here in USA?

Either on line at the HB shop or contact you're local store and they can either order directly from us or from they're distributor.

http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/products/en/67720.html

Have to see if we have the new spool/one way front diff as a spare part set yet, we'll be back in the office on Tuesday

Thanks,

AH

I have a brand new diff still in the bag..........it can be yours and shipped to you for $47 which is $42 for the diff (RC Market's price) and $5 shipping. I bought two when I got mine. Let me know if you're interested.

i ran this car for the first time on assphalt today and it performed extremely well with a standard tarmac setup from HBonline, that setup works extremely well on medium-hi bite assphalt. I opted for the one-way over the spool for forgiveness.

Track temp was probably about 80F, cool day, MuchMore 24r's were the hot ticket. They lasted the entire day (8 runs) and still have life left.

Sorry maybe i should rephrase my question...
I notice the front and rear lower arms for the HB Cyclone TC are not the same mold as for the previous models (black, Hara, Surikarn and WCE). They have the sway bar mounts on both sides of each arm and the first prototype TC that Hara tested looked like it had a modified front arm on the rear. So i was curious if the extra sway bar mounts are so the arms can turned over for further tuning options? Or are the rear arms just lightly shorter than from the previous model Cyclones?

Cheers
