Hi guys

can anyone please confirm whether the pro-spec diff rings are the same as the Cyclone 12? I couldnt find an exploded view of the new diff, the pro-spec diff doesn't list rings as separate parts either... Soooo... does the pro-spec diff use #61627 as diff rings? Thanks!

Paul

As looking into the manual, seems that pro-spec uses those diff rings #61627.

You can check the manual here:

Cheers.

Yes! HB used the thrust washer from the D4 and D4 WCE! Good job hotbodies! Im glad to see they used parts from their other cars rather than make all new parts making it harder to find.

I think its odd though, cyclone12 diff rings and D4 thrust washers

I just got finished building my first of the two new diffs I bought and all I can say is....OMG this is SO much better This diff will really lock down and is still very, very smooth.

RC Market, I'm glad to hear you'll be carrying the ceramic thrust balls.

you can use any 3mm diff ball for the diff and I forget what the 8 thrust balls are.

Have other people found this too? What's the solution? Is it just a case of lengthening the shock?
JL .... I was thinking about doing the same thing so I'm also interested in your upgrade. Maybe the new 2 hole balk heads are shorter???? Hang in there and somebody will let us know.

Just wondering if you can use the one-way pulley for the spool??......... Or it has to be different for the screws to fit and there is one just for the spool??

Thanks,
