If there is any problum understanding you can go to http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/index2.php and download the manual. Any version of the car manual will show how to properly install this part.

Using the times on a clock method can be confusing. 3 o'clock on one side becomes 9 o'clock on the otherside. Also, the front and rear use opposite setting to get the same tension settings.

Try this:

Use the notch on the bearing holder as a marker. Try to think of these notches in relation to the center pulley on the car. If the notch is pointing away from the center pulley, the belt will have the least amount of tension applied. If the notch is pointed directly toward the center pulley, it will have maxium tension applied. This method doesn't change from front to rear, or from left to right. Make sure that the notch positions match left to right or you will get the bearings out of allignment and your diff/spool will bind and won't fit correctly.

That's why I was relating to the drivers side as the reference, then set the opposite side (passenger side) to match. Guess it's easier when you show someone.

I've been running the Cyclone now for about, oh, 5 or 6 months now. Started with the AME, but mostly run the new TC. Car is really good outdoors.

On the drivers side: 9 o'clock on the front will be the loose setting. But 9 o'clock on the rear will be the tightest setting.

just a thought.
Wow I didn't think of the impact of arm spacing being of much notice! I have not touched a touring car in so long, but I guess at that level anyway you are striving for such perfection that you need to go about setting up like that. Thanks for pointing that out!

Which Orion lipo fits the Cyclone TC with the battery trays?

I'm still trying to locate a Cyclone TC kit.

No need to change anything with lipo, as long as you make sure chassis is properly balanced side to side and you're at legal race weight.

...and at most club races, weight isnt' even an issue. You might still add a couple cubes of weight to the battery side, but you'll have to test it to see.

As yyhayyim said, just make sure it is balanced left to right as close as possible.
