G'day all!
Just downloaded some of Hara's setups from HPI Japan and ran into a little problem when trying to use it on my car
I saw on most of his setups that he runs spacers under the sus blocks. using the pro 4 ones for the toe blocks are easy but what to use for the black sus blocks? any suggestions? cut some of the spacers in half
cheers

to get the 1.5mm under the F/R blocks im guessing two of these, as looking at the pics of his car there appears to be a visible gap between the chassis and the blocks...

HPI Aluminum Washer 3x6x0.75mm Purple

well I just tried 1.5mm under the front f/r block, which has resulted in the steering turnbuckles binding on the f/r block at about half steering travel....

the solution isnt obvious (other than a dremel)... any ideas?

edit: found a close up pic of hara's car from IIC and its a dremel fix...

nope...just file away alittle of the blocks. there will be no support if the center bar is cut-off. I see by the chassis drilled cut-outs that can provide for a split type pivot block like the Yok BD.

I added 1mm spacers on mine...it does touch the turnbuckles just slightly. I'll probably take the dremel as well later this weekend and before I get them recolored to purple.

If using 1mm spacer can prevented me to dremel those brand new alum pivot blocks..........I would use it.

After all, it is just 0.5mm different.........using Hara's 1.5mm spacer doesn't make me drives like Hara...........HARA can dremel any parts or screws all he want cause he might have a new cyclone every weekend...LOL.

There are nothing DREMEL cannot do...just remember that....may be I can dremel my Pro 4 into the cyclone....the belt might be a little bit tough.
