Will the affect be more obvious in mod compared to stock racing?
With everyone so engrossed in the price discussion on the TC, my query may have been overlooked. Now that the dust have relatively settled down. Anyone care to comment on the above?

can somebody help me. I have a cyclone with a 17.5 brushless system. I am using a 100t spur gear, what would be a good starting pinion?

The 2.4 is using the standard 16 tooth pulley and the the 2.1 ratio uses the 18 tooth pulley. The 18T helps get the lower final drive ratio's needed for brushless 13.5 and 17.5 motors. The 16T is better suited for mod ratio's and 10.5

I posted it a couple of pages back. You will just have to scroll through the pages to find it. Just start clicking on the threads and look for dates later than 5/25/08.

it looks like I may need a 53t pinion for the 17.5 system, is that right?

I just put in a 17.5 with a 102 spur and a 52 pinion... my temps are around 136... I would gear up a little but I just don't have anymore then 52

Is there a good article on-line that explains spur / pinion ect ? My understanding is you should gear as high as the engine temp can take... I have no idea if this is right... seems like it's got to be more to it then this... Thanks

I am wondering if these are the correct upgrades for a cyclone

http://www.titaniumracing.com/product.asp?prodnum=316

they appear to be made differently than the stock ones

Hi Guys

Just about ready to purchase the Cyclone TC, just wanted to see what other upgrades or options you recommend I buy straight up. It will be racing in 17.5 brushless stock only.

Also need to find out whether the CORE 5000 lipos fit in the TC?

Cheers
Adrian
