LOSI123 Did you properly tweak your car? Does it only pull oneway under acceleration or all the time?
1)Make sure you steering bellcrank moves freely with no binding
2)How old is your servo and transmitter?
If your servo is old it can be worn out but that goes with the steering and throttle pots in your transmitter aswell. If you race alot I recommend sending in your transmitter to have your steering and throttle POTS replaced about every year to 2 years.

Since we can still achieve the same final ratio by different combination of pinion/spur, wonder how the internal ratio will affect the car's handling and acceleration?

Will the affect be more obvious in mod compared to stock racing?
With everyone so engrossed in the price discussion on the TC, my query may have been overlooked. Now that the dust have relatively settled down. Anyone care to comment on the above?

TQ!

can somebody help me. I have a cyclone with a 17.5 brushless system. I am using a 100t spur gear, what would be a good starting pinion?

The 2.4 is using the standard 16 tooth pulley and the the 2.1 ratio uses the 18 tooth pulley. The 18T helps get the lower final drive ratio's needed for brushless 13.5 and 17.5 motors. The 16T is better suited for mod ratio's and 10.5

I posted it a couple of pages back. You will just have to scroll through the pages to find it. Just start clicking on the threads and look for dates later than 5/25/08.
