I prefer steel HD all the way around but as i had some aluminium ones from a new kit i put them in the rear of which one is bent after a few meets meets **MEH**.

I wouldnt use aluminium up front with the 10.5 the spool puts a lot of stress on the drivetrain when you crash. You may be ok with a 13.5 though but dont quote me on that

I'll admit the aluminum CVD's in the worlds kit are pretty soft but I find they are very effecient. I use them all around in both carpet and assphalt, yes they bend, yes they break but its part of racing. I haven't had any experience with the ver. 2 pieces on the hara/surikarn/TC kits.

has anyone ever bent any bulkheads?

I have a tweaked chassis ( it wont sit flat)

tried the screws trick, still no good.

I was wondering if it would more likly be the chassis itself or maybe the bulkheads?

I got the car second hand so i dont know if it has been in any major crashes or not.

crashing is part of racing but if I can use a part that holds up a little better and still gives me great performance then that's what I'm going with. If pasrts were cheaper then maybe this issue wouldn't exist. Now that the Reedy race is over, it's time to apply some of the stuff Hara taught me at the club level. Next weeks race should be a good one.

strip the car completely down and place all the bulk heads on your set up board or some flat glass and see if they are flat. Do the same to the chassis without any screws mounted. If everything chacks out then look at the hing pins and possibly shock shafts.

Hey STLNLST, or Scotty

Can I borrow some diff grease? Im pretty sure I can find my black grease, but I cant find my lil HB's thing of the clear stuff, or whatever you guys use for the main diff balls

My diff was on the gritty side, so I tore it down...

ya my RF bulkhead is slightly bent, i got the car used and Im not sure if I bent it or if the previous owner did, im pretty sure i did it. No big deal, i can still tweak it out on thr tweak station. Check all the hingepins/bulkheads on glass.

Would you happen to have a part number for the steel u-joints for the Moore Speed kit ?
Thanks.

You might be better off going by Billy's to get some because I don't know when I'll see you next to give it to you.
