cheers
With my Cyclone the only thing i have broken so far is the hubs (part#73507), bent a CVD but since i replaced them with Titanium racing ones and they have been awesome. ive been using them for about 4 months now, also might be good to get some diff screws and the suspension arm (part#73506). and the only thing that wears is the diff, if u race in mod. i think the new diff is a lot better so wont need to be rebuilt as often.

what's the point of a warm up race if you don't know what frickin' tire you're going to be running????

Sorex 32 or 36?Which worked best yesterday? Also is the foam your using the Hara medium/firm or Firm? And you used xenon wheels? Is there a reason you used these over the Yoke wheels?

i think the reason i was stripping servo horns and breaking servo savers was because if you add an alloy steering arm instead of the stock plastic one, you need to back off the servo saver almost all the way to allow it some flex. I guess they used plastic for a reason. Basically if I hit hard with the wheels turned into the wall it would break the saver and strip the threads on the horn. Fixed it.

Also since my track changed to click-track, its much more forgiving on the cars. Before we had solid solid wood/steel as barriers...yeah wicked ghetto.

Wonder if anyone has placed spacers under the front and rear bulkhead, the motor mount and the middle block in order to use a bigger spur and to use the SMC lipo. Will this effect the handling of the car? What will the effect be should this be done?

That would change your center of gravity and roll center drastically.Your best bet is to modify the bulkhead. Its actual very simple to do and no adverse changes to setup.I ran my smc 5000 with great results. No problems.

with mine I am able to fit an 88 spur with a 53 pinion and there is still room for a bigger pinion easy.

I don't know who was running 32's but the sorex 36 were pretty dialed. I went with the Xenon wheels because they were black. The wheels suck but they look cool. I will look into a different rim for the speedworld cup. I have some of the old Orion rims from back in the day. Those were the best rim ever (IMO) The warm up/now spec tire race will be pretty fun if there's a turnout. I'll keep my opinions off the net but you have my phone number and email if you care to hear a few things.
