It is very common through alot of different brands of cars to get rear hubs that are not entirely accurate. It can cause weird handling problems. Probably the best bet is to use alloy rear hubs as they are more accurate. (well most of the time anyway)

The pivot blocks can also move slightly, (not sure how much side to side never checked) but I know when my suspension arm had play I loosened the block and pushed it towards the car while tightening and it had no play any more.

I have the same set up (futaba servo tho..) As you saw

Honestly, I thought the same way, but after doing it, I love it!! Everything fits 100% better then normal, Nothing has to hang of the chassis

I dont see any negatives other then shoe goo takes 24 hours plus to dry

Is this something Hara/Moore or any of the HB drivers is doing? All my HB cars have had BL speedos and either Spectrum receivers or the new Futaba 2.4 receivers.I see why you may resort to cutting the servo ears.I will do it if I have to but I see no real reason to do so.

NO - All the team driver cars I have seen all use servo mounts to secure the servo to the chassis.

No, they dont

I didnt want anything to hang off the chassis, so thats my reason....

There are pics of my car on here with the servo shoegooed but I don't have the fast system. Scotty has all the above in his car and it's shoegooed.

Has anybody tried running the new Reedy lipos in their cyclone? I'm just curious how well (if at all) they fit and how the wiring goes. I know the wires come out at a kinda strange spot on those lipos.

I bent an alloy C-hub today racing! I still managed to pull the most laps in 5 minutes than I have ever done ever! an Astonishing 30 laps! For me this is incredible as I am very sucky.

I was impressed how well the car handled, i drove it thru both quals and the main with the bent hub! tweak free!
