Well I got an up close first hand look at the car sitting in the box. Looks nice, but I have to say that you sure don't get much for the price. If you already own a Pro4 you will be in good shape for toe blocks etc, but I can't justify the price with what you get.

I'll swap you a Pro4 for your HB Cyclone.

I ran mine last night at a club meet. Rookie mistakes meant I did not finish (or start 2) qualifiers, but when the car was on the track and the tyres were warm the car seemed really consistent and predictable. It is definately a smoother car than the Pro 4 and felt nice throught the evening. I was not expecting miracles from it, but it did not dissapoint. A few small changes wil have it running really nice. Also by "predictable" I do not mean slow, just nice and smooth.

Jonathan. P.S anyone know if you can get diff 'kits' like you could for the Pro 4. I need a diff for the front.

Anyone? (please!)

Crangon mine is exactly the same. There seems to be alot of play there and the gear will not sit in-line with the pulley, it is always off centre and causes a slight binding. Jonathan

It sounds to me as though HB need to make the area around the shock tower mount a little larger to reinforce it.

Has anyone tried using the CVD type driveshafts from the Pro 4 in the Cyclone? I have some TIR ones that I am hoping to use...

Does anyone has any pictures??
