i've also noticed this, it's quite disturbing having so much play in the gear

Has anyone actually experienced the upper bulkheads breaking? Where does it break exactly, I'm finding it hard to believe that something like that could break so easily.

I didn't think that it would come with all the roll bar set, direct center pulley etc.....
and who said this car was over priced... if you look at the similar YOK BD and add up the sway bars and direct drive gears etc......
it would cost equal or more than the cyclone.

What I was refering to that the Cyclone out of the box with only a few very minor changes handled far better than any car I have had. Unlike some other manufacturers cars where you have to buy aftermarket shocks, chassis, pulleys, steering bell-cranks, etc. to have a competitive car (You know what I mean) I only had to change springs in the front.
As far as the 415MSX I'm sure it will be a great car and probably handle better than any of it's predecessors, it ought to, it's only the third revision of the same chassis. Which I'm sure most of the Tamiya faithful are happy about since the original 415 is $345 then upgrade to a 415MS is $475 now to an MSX that is another $150 to $275. But you guys are right the Cyclone shouldn't be that impressive since it is Hotbodies first TC, albeit with HPI help.

Also if you paid attention to what I wrote I stated that the spool I had on the car was slipping so the car's handling was less than perfect.
bro, nobody is bashing your car, merely making a statement... everyone does... there new car is always better than there old one. whether its true or not, theyll always make that statement.

it was a joke...ha ha!!! either your a kid and need to ask your parents for a quarter to buy a sence of humor, or your an adult who needs to take a realty pill and realise were talking TOY CARS here!!!

I didn't realize there was such a thing as a "realty" pill

I understand that they are toy cars, maybe I should've made my original comments clearer since stating that "it's better than anything I've driven" does come across as "I got a new car and I like it better than my old car."

What I meant to communicate was that after switching through various cars with various setups, the Cyclone has the "feel" I have been looking for in that it has lots of steering and traction at the same time, with very little done to the car. Hopefully that clarifies what I meant.
