you'll have to mod the diff and spool pulleys.
orinally had 6 balls.. now there are 12 balls in the rear. 3mm. no bearing shims. for the rear you'll have to drill out for 3mm balls.
for the spool. ream out the center to fit. the pulleys are wider than the newer thinner pulleys.
these are the same pulleys used in the Tamiya 416

Hey man everything is good....mostly just raising kids. Can you say 3 in college...with one more to go!! It's good to see you on the same thread. Remember those "old" schumacher days?
I have the new pulleys and belts and ran them for the first time last week-end. It was nice to be able to back down on the pinion size. Personally, I'm NOT finding any issues with belt length. Mine actually seemed to fit real nice.

The Schumacher days sure were the good ole days. Everyone was very helpful to one another. It seems to be about the same in this thread too. I will run my car with the stock equipment then as needed I'll go to the other pulley's. I have two other pulley's besides the stock one. My buddy hooked me up with them. We'll see what this car can do whenever I get a chance to run again.

hi, i need help from you Hardcore Cyclone guys, i just wanna know, is the cyclone and the Hpi Pro4 share the same suspension components? how about the CVD's? the reason i am asking is beacuse the LHS is selling off pro4 CVDs cheap, so i was wondering if they are the same?

The Pro 4 CVD will not fit the cyclone, the length of the CVD shaft is longer on the pro4, only the axle can be use on a cyclone.

The things which i think are same from the Pro 4 are Arms, C Hubs, knuckles, rear hub carriers, the sway bars links which attach to the arms (note the actual sway bars are different and the fixing for the middle of the sway bar to the chassis), pivot blocks (the FR and RF blocks are different as are the inner hinge pins) the outer hinge pins which fix the c hubs and hub carriers to the arms are the same.
The cvds/universals are different but the wheel axle and the universal rebuild kits are the same.
The bumper and fittings for the bumper should also be the same.
The shocks will fit straight on and the springs are the same.
