I have checked ackerman, toe , all linkage positions, its all as per the standard asphelt setup on the hb website. And the epa on transmitter is set to maxium phisicaly posible (ie the steering hub/knuckle is hitting its limit....

I was told that i should set it up with about 20 degrees throw on the outside wheel, and that the maxium posible is around 28 degrees....

If 17 is the max you can get then maybe the info you received was a bit off. Have you tried running the car at 17 yet? You might find what you were looking for.

the new chassis has to be for foam tires the stock chassis is plenty for rubber tire on carpet. me personally i wouldnt even get the chassis unless you plan on running foam tires for a while i would not get that thick of a chassis for rubber tire on carpet or anywhere

predrill the holes; especially the ballstuds in the uprights can break easily if you don't predrill the holes.
