i would have to agree with the flex on the new HB car. i race at an outdoor large track with foams. and already i think that the hardest hpi springs arn't hard enough. so i think that HB will have to think about this problem and try to find a way around the flex.

so it looks like Hara and Surikarn 1 and 2 with the new Hot Bodies prototype.

well this is a good start. and a good sign to see that the car is fast.

At first i didnt think it looked exactly like the TRF 415. But then i saw it with the ally bulkheads.. and its very similar. The motor is further forward on the HB/HPI but thats all thats really different as far as the format of the car goes.

the first time out prototype was good enough to win this Thailand race that rheinhard and his 415 entered...

on rubber tires this car should be plenty stiff....carpet or asphault.

for those people that run foams it would be questionable.

not exactly a 415 clone...

I more impressed by how low the CG is in this car, combine that with the design that allows the battery to be moved more center in the chassis. No wonder it is doing well in it's first outing.

As far as shaft vs. belt, it seems that in Japan the 8min. 23T classes are dominated by the shafts & the 5min. Mod classes racers are using a belt chassis.

love that low CG!

What car did Surikarn drive to win the stock class? If it was the HB then I would have to say that it didn't do so poorly in stock!

On the website it shows Surikarn listed the Hotbodies car in both mod and stock.

Awww TRF 415 has an ickle bumper bless it.

So has there been any kind of indication of when the refined version (final) will be out? late this year?
