I took the car to Speedline Hobbies yesterday for it's first run on a track. The car drives better than any other car I have ever driven, plenty of traction and steering. The car would have been unshakeable had it not been for my "spool" coming loose under load
(still working on this issue). When the spool did hold the car was able to outperform the cars that went on to win the class, unfortunately that was only for the first half of the race.
One suggestion to anyone building this car is loc-tite. I had several screws come loose and some even fell out (such as the steering ball studs).
