Just boil the stock ones, I'm sure if you boil them long enough they will turn purple.

Had a chance to race my BMI Cyclone for the first time this weekend. I have the foam BMI chassis and after some small changes the car was really good (although the driver was a little rusty)...so far I am pretty impressed.

Anyone have any idea how small I can go on the spur?

It appears that rollout with 13.5 or 10.5 brushless is in the 40-45mm range....holy cow!!

Add foam tires now I am looking at some tiny spur and huge pinions!!

Anyone put on anything smaller than 88?

Jamie

Yes...an 88 will work. I am currently running a 90/55 with a 13.5 with foams... plenty of room to go to a 60 tooth pinion.

Wow. That's a big pinion! What brand / pitch are you using? Just curious, as a fellow cyclone owner who may one day run brushless too. Thanks.
